Our brand new cattery provides safe, luxurious cat accommodation.
We offer just 10 luxurious suites, each with a thermostatically controlled heated bedroom and a large 'calming' cat bed, ensuring your cat is always comfortable. The bedroom leads to a spacious play area with views of the garden. There are places for our guests to climb, exercise, scratch and play as well as relax. In warm weather we remove the external shutters so the cats can experience the feeling of being outdoors and enjoy the fresh air, vital for their health and wellbeing.
All of our suites are comfortably furnished with at least 3 different comfy sleep areas, a scratch post and lots of toys.
Hazelwood Boarding Cattery is officially licensed by Maidstone Borough Council and the facilities exceed the standards set by DEFRA for cat boarding.
Di, the owner and licensee of Hazelwood Boarding Cattery has been a lifelong cat lover and owner and personally takes care of all our cat guests.
She is trained in Pet First Aid & CPR and holds the Level 3 Diploma in Feline Care, Behaviour & Welfare.
With 4 of our own cats we know how different their personalities and needs are. Our cattery is intentionally small and is ideal for owners who want their cat to receive a very personal service.
Di offers expert care and attention, paired with a brand-new cattery, built to provide a stimulating environment for your cat with different levels for them to climb and stretch their legs and scratching posts and toys to keep them amused and appeal to their senses whilst encouraging natural behaviours.

Hazelwood Boarding Cattery is situated just outside the small village of Charing in Kent. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside right on top of the North Downs.
The cattery itself is situated in the large, secluded grounds of our home so there is always someone close to hand. The suites overlook the horse paddocks and garden so our cat guests can keep an eye on the local wildlife and equines.
This stimulating yet peaceful environment keeps the cats mentally occupied - a great way to reduce stress.
