Kittens need a minimum of 2 injections (primary course), given 3 to 4 weeks apart. They can go into a cattery 2 weeks after the 2nd vaccination. Kittens cannot have the 1st injection until they are 8 weeks old. This means the earliest a kitten may be able to enter the cattery is 13 weeks.
Did your cat have the following injections ? :
- A minimum of 2 injections (primary course) given 3 to 4 weeks apart starting at 8 or 9 weeks or older?
- 1st booster within 12 months of the primary course
- Great - your young cat can go into the cattery immediately
My cat didn't have the first 2 injections as a kitten - your young cat will need to have the same injections (primary course) as a kitten. They will be ready to enter the cattery 2 weeks after the second injection.
My cat had the first 2 injections but didn't have the first booster within 12 months of the kitten (primary) course. Your cat needs to restart their vaccinations and will need to have the same injections (primary course) as a kitten. They will be ready to enter the cattery 2 weeks after the second injection.

My cat had the first 2 injections and the first booster within 12 months of the kitten (primary) course. If your cat has then received its most recent booster within the past 12 months then it can go into the cattery immediately if he/she has not had one then they will need a single booster and can go into a cattery after 2 weeks.
